Hi there! My name's Kelsey. I'm a junior here at IUSB and I'm a Communication Major with a focus in New Media, and working on a theater minor. I chose this track because I loved the broadness that came with the degree, and in regards to my minor, I have done theater since I was five years old and thought I might as well make something out of it. When I'm not at school, I work and live on a goat farm down in Lakeville that is owned by my fiance's family. We own over 600 goats and focus on selling and breeding. I absolutely love my job, and being at school instead of on the farm makes me miss the goats even more. Other than that, I enjoy playing video games, singing, working out, and watching online content. My favorite online content creator is Rooster Teeth, an online media content company based in Austin, Texas. They do things from gameplays, shorts, animated shows, sci-fi thrillers, and recently just released their first movie. As you can see in my self-portrait, Rooster Teeth is super important to me. It helped me out of a bad place, and it's also how I met my fiance. If I could make any kind of media, I would defintely do gameplay edits like they do at Rooster Teeth, and their sibling company, Funhaus. Lets Play content creators like Rooster Teeth and their sibling accounts are what have gotten me into the world of media, production, and editing.

When I graduate, I'd like to find a job within a company and work as their social media manager. My absolute dream job would be to be able to work with a company such as Rooster Teeth as a community or social media manager.
